There are several characteristics that make the gold so valuable for the jewelry producers: its colour is attractive, it is durable, easy to process and it could be found in very pure form. People knew that since ancient times so they started using it for jewelry.

If you choose to wear silver jewelry, you have to know that it needs special care. Firstly, it is better to take it off when go to the bathroom as the water oxalates it and gets dark. Also, from time to time it needs a special chemical cleaning to bring back its shine.

It is interesting that it is recommendable to wear silver jewelry in a leap year as it is believed that it will bring you happiness. It might seem ridiculous but the statistics never lies – in a leap year the sold silver jewelry is in times more than in normal years.
